A Table Set for Every Neighbour

Established December 2025 · Registered CIO No. 1216295

A Welcome from Our Chair
“When we established Divine Intervention Ministry Essex at the end of 2025, our conviction was simple: church should never be four closed walls. Whether you need a quiet place to pray, help putting food on the table, or a friendly voice to help navigate disability support in Thurrock, our doors at River Court are open to you.”
William Ohene Djan
Chair of Trustees · Divine Intervention Ministry Essex
Our Story & Governance

Built by neighbours, accountable to our community.

Divine Intervention Ministry Essex was constituted as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) in December 2025 to serve the growing riverside neighbourhood of Purfleet-on-Thames and the wider Borough of Thurrock.

Why Purfleet-on-Thames?

As new families, key workers, and older residents have settled along the Thames Gateway around Centurion Way and River Court, we saw a clear need for a local hub that combines Christian spiritual encouragement with practical, non-judgemental welfare support.

Our ministry bridges that gap. During the week we host open scripture reflection, youth mentoring, and pastoral listening ears; on the ground we partner with local volunteers to assist households facing poverty, isolation, or mobility challenges.

Public Benefit & Charitable Objects
Registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales under Charity No. 1216295 (registered 22 December 2025). All gatherings and welfare services are open to the public regardless of background or personal means.
